Why Sallanches, why now

The valley market is moving towards us

Chamonix and Megève are above 10,000 € per m². Valley families, working people, investors: more and more buyers are turning to Sallanches, Passy and Saint-Gervais, served by the Sallanches – Combloux – Megève station and the A40. That is exactly where the agency sits.

The group

You are not starting from nothing

Joining Swixim Sallanches means stepping into a set-up where sales and letting management complement each other naturally.

Our agency, a franchise of the Swixim network, works hand in hand with Care Concierge, a letting-management company established in the valley.

Owners looked after by Care Concierge often have new plans: buying, selling, investing or building up their holdings. The Swixim agency is then the natural partner for that.

Care Concierge then handles the management and the performance of the properties entrusted to it. So you arrive into an ecosystem that already exists, with a portfolio of owners and plenty of room to build.

The point: not to start from nothing, but to build your own business on real overlap between sales and management.

Frequently asked questions

Becoming an estate agent at Swixim Sallanches

Do I already need to be an estate agent to apply?+

No. We take on experienced agents and people changing career alike. What counts is people skills, organisation and the will to build your own business. For the first few weeks you work alongside an agent from the team.

What status does a self-employed estate agent have at Swixim?+

You work as a property sales agent: self-employed, registered on the RSAC (the French register of commercial agents), and the agency issues you the authorisation certificate required by the Hoguet law. You do not need to hold the professional licence yourself.

How are you paid?+

Commission on every sale you complete. The scale is set out in full at interview, with concrete examples.

What is the link with Care Concierge?+

Swixim Sallanches and Care Concierge are part of the same group. Care Concierge manages more than 300 homes on short-term lets in the valley. Many of those owners want to invest in another property, sell, or buy something larger, and the agency handles those moves.

Which area will you work?+

The agency is based in Sallanches and covers Sallanches, Passy and the Plateau d'Assy, Saint-Gervais and Le Fayet. Your own canvassing area is agreed with you when you arrive.

Do I need to speak English?+

It is a real advantage, because we receive enquiries from buyers and investors based abroad. It is not a requirement: simply tell us in the form which languages you speak.

How long does it take to get started?+

After the interview, allow the time for your RSAC registration and for your certificate to be issued. You can then take on your first instructions, with the team alongside you.

Do you work from the office?+

You organise your own time, out on the ground and in meetings. The Sallanches office stays your base: team meetings, client appointments and shared tools.
